Design is in my blood. I grew up in Ottawa watching my father paint signs, and typography has been a passion as long as I can remember. I studied graphic design at Emily Carr University in Vancouver and then began working in film and television creating titles and visual effects. My film and TV work continued after a move to Toronto, but a yearning to work in print led me to strike out on my own. When I began designing books, it felt like a revelation. I love how book design lets me combine visual storytelling with my love of reading. Now I call London home and work with a variety of publishers in the UK, the US and Canada.
